Return & Exchange Policy

At Aalayaa Jewellery, we strive to ensure you are delighted with your purchase. However, if you encounter an issue with your order, our return and exchange policy is designed to be transparent and fair.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • Timeframe: We offer a 7-day return policy only for products with manufacturing defects or quality issues. You must request a return within 7 days of the delivery date.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with all tags intact.
  • Documentation: The original invoice must be included in the return package.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Coins, Bars, Idols, Frames, and Rakhi items are not eligible for exchange or refund.
  • Used Products: Any product showing signs of wear or use will not be accepted for return or exchange.

2. Damaged, Missing, or Empty Parcels

In the unlikely event that you receive an empty parcel or a product is missing:

  • Reporting Window: Contact our support team within 12 hours of delivery.
  • Mandatory Evidence: A clear 360° unboxing video of the sealed package is mandatory.
  • Verification: Claims may be rejected if the evidence is insufficient or if the package shows signs of tampering. Aalayaa Jewellery reserves the right to make the final decision on all such claims.

4. Shipping Procedure

Reverse Pickup

Will be scheduled within 48 hours of approval. Maximum of 2 attempts will be made. If the handover fails, the return request will be cancelled. Note: We highly recommend recording a video of the handover to the courier agent.

Self-Shipping

If reverse pickup is unavailable or not feasible in your location, please ship via a reliable courier. Mark the package clearly with your Order ID and contact details. Share tracking details via WhatsApp.

5. Quality Inspection & Processing

  • Arrival: Returned products typically reach us within 6–7 business days.
  • Inspection: A quality check is conducted within 24 hours of receipt. Items that fail the check (due to damage or signs of use) will be returned to the customer at their own expense.
  • Approval: Upon approval, your replacement or refund will be processed. New products are typically shipped within 3–5 business days.

6. Refunds & Price Adjustments

  • Refund Timeline: Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Price Differences: In case of exchange, if the exchanged item is more expensive, the customer must pay the difference. If the exchanged item is less expensive, the balance will be refunded to your original payment method.
  • Out of Stock Items: If a product cannot be recreated, we will offer you the choice of store credit, an alternative product, or a full refund.

7. Maintenance & Repairs

  • Polish & Wear: We do not provide a guarantee for gold/rose gold plating or general wear and tear.
  • Repair Services: If a product is damaged after use, we offer repair services upon request. The customer is responsible for all repair costs and two-way shipping charges.

8. Product Disclaimers

  • Color Variations: Slight differences in color may occur due to photography lighting or screen settings.
  • Craftsmanship: As our jewellery is handcrafted, minor variations are natural characteristics of the artisan process and are not considered defects.
  • Size & Fit: Size preferences are subjective. Issues related to personal fit preferences are not classified as manufacturing defects.
  • Unauthorized Returns: Items sent back to us without prior approval are not eligible for refund or exchange.
